Founded in January 2024, Exalt Youth Community Center emerged in response to the profound realization, at Good News Temple, that a conventional youth department couldn't fully meet the urgent needs and fervor to positively impact young lives. Witnessing a divine shift, Deacon Sylvia Oduah and Pastor Mercy Oduah felt called to revolutionize the church, returning to its core mission of outreach and empowerment. With a deep-seated passion for youth, Sylvia, who has dedicated herself to uplifting and inspiring young minds since her college years, recognized the transformative potential within the younger generation. Leveraging her professional skills and experience, Sylvia answered the call to establish an environment where youth could undergo a comprehensive metamorphosis across all aspects of their lives. This led to the birth of Exalt Youth Community Center as an extension of Good News Temple.
